The location was convenient for beaches, shops, restaurants, and airport travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The balcony offered a nice view and the front garden was beautiful. The rooms were well secured, had air conditioning, clean bathrooms, and a kitchen. Overall, it’s highly recommended and worth the money. The downside is that the facility is on the first floor, so it’s not suitable for older people who need to use stairs.

Our experience at the Cosy White Palace Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Upon our arrival at the airport, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, Upali and Shanthi, who kindly arranged transportation for us to the hotel. Once we arrived, we were delighted to be served beautifully presented and delicious welcome drinks, which my daughter, who can be quite particular, thoroughly enjoyed. This thoughtful gesture truly set a lovely tone for our stay. We had the pleasure of spending eight delightful nights there with our family. The staff consistently exhibited remarkable friendliness and humility, always eager to assist us with any requests. They took the time to engage with us, making us feel especially welcome and valued. When we expressed interest in exploring the town, they graciously offered their own vehicle to facilitate our adventures, ensuring we felt comfortable and secure. As international travelers, we were particularly grateful for their insightful guidance in securing better prices. Their familiarity with local rates helped us avoid the higher charges often imposed on tourists, greatly enhancing our experience. Furthermore, their willingness to assist us with any purchases was a clear reflection of their dedication to outstanding service. At the conclusion of our stay, the staff thoughtfully transported us to the airport, which made us feel truly cared for throughout our journey. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made our departure bittersweet, as we felt like we were leaving behind a family that had taken us in. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Negombo. Its convenient location, with shops and restaurants nearby, makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. The place was beautiful, located just 5 minutes to the beach by Tuk Tuk, which we loved. A supermarket was next door and a bakery across the road, and we enjoyed an evening snack on the stunning rooftop terrace overlooking palm trees at sunset – the perfect holiday vibe. We even spotted huge bats! The hosts were super kind and helpful, and we’ll definitely return.

Our en suite room was very clean and cosy. A lovely lady brought my partner and me a king coconut to drink. Overall, great hosts who will look after you.
