Everything was clean and tidy, the bed was great, and the manager was very helpful and friendly. The location was great for us. The shower was so‑so.

“Friendly staff in a good location for our needs.”

I asked for a ground‑floor room because of my limited mobility, and the staff welcomed the request and upgraded me to a higher‑priced room for free. The staff were friendly and eager to accommodate. It’s an older‑style motel with some upgrades; the electricals were still old‑fashioned, with the bathroom light switch outside the room in a not‑obvious spot. The exhaust fan wouldn’t work unless the bathroom ceiling light was on, and the bathroom heating was a fifties‑era wall‑mounted strip heater.

“We overall dissapointed and wouldnt stay again”

The location worked for our hospital visits, but the restaurant was closed without any notice, and the staff didn’t help us find other food options. No one was available to check us in, and when someone finally arrived we were left outside with the door locked while they talked on the phone.

The place was just where I needed to be, with a sandy riverfront and beach only less than 100 meters away, and the service was excellent.

The staff were awesome, always helpful and full of suggestions for local spots. Unfortunately there was no breakfast, and the bed tilted toward the middle so I ended up rolling to the center of the bed all night.
