I was disappointed that there was no can opener, as I had forgotten mine.

I was accommodated with an early check‑in. The property smelled like marijuana when I arrived, and when I requested a refund due to unsafe conditions, property management ignored me. I am still waiting for a response beyond the 48‑hour window that was promised, and the cost of my trip unexpectedly doubled because I had to find other accommodations. The only mention of the unit being shared with other guests was the shared shower, which I understood to mean a 2‑bed, 1‑bath rental. The property was also dirty, with marks and stains on the walls.

The spot was in a great location, making it easy to get to the event we came for, and the host was quick to tell us where to park since we didn’t know the area. Carroll Street is unmarked, so we were told to walk to places whenever possible because the neighborhood is dense and parking can be hard to find. I liked how close the area was to our weekend event and how walkable everything was. The downside was the parking situation: the tow‑spot signage only offered a few spots.

The place is in a convenient spot near the stadium, and the private room came with a toilet and basin, plus an eating area and kitchen that we could use. There was parking nearby. I arrived at 3 pm and the room wasn’t cleaned yet—apparently the cleaner had a delay from a previous job, but he did a quick clean and reset once he got there. The host dropped off a missing TV remote, which was nice, and the bed was a little soft.
