The shrimp dishes were out of this world and the kitchen crew were quick to answer any question. The setting is pretty rustic, so if you prefer a more polished vibe you might look elsewhere. Still, the food alone makes it worth a visit.

The owner was genuinely helpful and even set up a decent lagoon tour (though it felt a bit pricey), and breakfast was solid; the location is truly quiet and the AC works fine. On the flip side, the room looked worn and wasn’t clean, the window was nailed shut with no natural light, the towels were basically old rags, and the toilet had no flush—just a bucket—and the shower leaked water into the bedroom, making the whole place feel cramped and far too expensive for what it offered.

The garlic‑shrimp dinner was prepared perfectly and absolutely delicious, but the mattress was far too soft, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. A tasty meal but an uncomfortable bed.
