“Amazing view!”

We appreciated the large rooms, fantastic view, and the beautiful hotel, but the area lacks restaurants and the hotel’s own eatery focuses only on meat dishes; the bath looks big in photos but is actually quite small.

The property was very modern, and new. Definitely different than the typical Japanese onsen experiences. The restaurant was very good with friendly staff. The guest lounge was a bit disappointing. The snacks were a little old, and they ran out of drinks, several times. There are not many guests, and a lot of staff, so it shouldn’t have been hard to manage. The room could have some improvements, for example there was only 1 chair on the balcony which was off for a room ment for two people

“また別府にきたい！”

The view from the room was gorgeous, the in‑room hot spring was a nice touch, the room was spacious and overall clean, and the free drinks were appreciated, but overall cleanliness could be a step higher—dust gathered near the trash can and corners weren’t spotless; although the staff were considerate, the restaurant offered few options for children, leaving them with little to eat next to adults enjoying tasty dishes, which felt unfair; a wider à‑la‑carte selection would be better for picky kids.

The hotel’s design was truly remarkable and one-of-a-kind, with an artistic flair that caught my eye. The staff were professional and friendly, making every interaction pleasant, and the parking right next to the hotel was free of charge. The only downside was the room‑service food, which could use some improvement.
