The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, especially the older folks who run the place.
The onsen and outdoor bath were a great bonus, and the clean toilets and generous amenities made our stay really comfortable.
The location was also really convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

The staff were friendly, the onsen felt wonderful and we loved the private open‑air bath, though we could still hear conversations from the neighboring room.
The place was flawless, we adored the onsen and the staff’s hospitality. Nothing was lacking.
“Highly recommended and one of the best stays in Japan.”
The property was superb, offering a wide range of onsens and a very friendly, polite owner. Breakfast was a bonus, and they even included a kimono. The location was convenient, near attractions, though there is a slight uphill walk back to the bus stop with luggage.
“物価高”
The place had a charming, old‑fashioned atmosphere and the free services were a nice touch; the private hot spring was also a highlight. However, the breakfast didn’t match the price – just bread, store‑bought yogurt and a boiled egg – the room’s hot water didn’t work, the walls were thin so we heard the next room’s chatter, the onsen looked much smaller than the photos, and the owner’s service was terrible (other staff seemed fine, perhaps it’s a family‑run operation).
“Excellent”
Everything—the site, the vibe, the vintage décor, the onsens, and the chance to wear a kimono—was great. The only downside was that the curtains didn’t block much morning sun.
