The location is beautiful, but the pool area was always packed, leaving no room for anyone to sit.

Fantastic location and lovely view from the terrace. Friendly staff. Breakfast was basic and the pool was very small and had no bar/food service

“Beautiful hotel which sadly has gone down hill in recent years”

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and loved it. But sadly a decade on, it is in need of some TLC. The views are still amazing and it is a wonderful building, just sad that it wasn't up to the standard you would expect from a boutique hotel. Rooms were rather tired and breakfast was disappointing. Overall the hotel and spa facilities were not as expected. There were very few staff around, and reception staff tried their best to resolve issues, there was no manager to take charge

The location, pool, and breakfast were good, but the garage was very narrow and the road to leave the city was impractical for a large car; the reception staff were unprofessional for a boutique hotel, and the room we received was missing half of the door frame.
