Check‑in was smooth, communication with the host was great, the neighborhood was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and I highly recommend it.

“Beautiful Property ... But with Issues!”

The place sits in a fantastic spot, just a 5‑minute walk to the shopping district and restaurants where many tours start, and the old town is amazing—nothing like what you’ve seen before. My room was large, well‑decorated, and comfortable, with a great bath and shower, and coffee and tea were available. However, the area wasn’t cleaned during my stay and got very messy. I didn’t hear from the host until just before I arrived, which worried me about getting in. The “breakfast” turned out to be a voucher for coffee and pastry at a nearby café, so I had to dress and leave instead of having it at the property. The taxi company recommended by card refused to give me a ride when I left because I wasn’t heading to the airport.

“Ottimo per visitare la splendida Matera”

The room looked just like the photos—spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The building is close to the center, the location is great, and parking is nearby on the street for a fee. We never met the manager in person, but he was very present and friendly through WhatsApp. The interior of the building where the B&B is located could be better maintained, and the room faces a fairly busy street, though we still slept well.

“Excelente!”

The place is very well located, close to the historic center and the Sassi. The room and bathrooms are spacious, the pillows are good, and the bedding and bath linens are high quality. The service from Cláudio was kind, attentive, and helpful, always ready to assist. The only downside is the hallway light, which turns off very quickly.

I liked how tastefully decorated it is, the bathroom is brand new, and it’s a super central base if you’re not staying in the Sassi. No negatives.
