The view from the pool overlooking the sea is breathtaking, the pool itself is huge, and the private parking right outside the hotel is a real bonus. It’s not a “factory” hotel, which is appreciated and keeps the place quiet and calm. Getting to the sea from the hotel is a plus, and the rooms are spacious with nice colours. I also want to point out how quickly the technical staff responded when we reported issues. The front‑desk ladies are friendly. In late September we had plenty of sun‑loungers around the pool and it was clean. The hotel is a 20‑minute walk from the Old Port of Bizerte and its Kasbah, and a 12‑minute drive to the Bizerte Caves.
Several aspects were disappointing… First, we paid a bit more than what the booking estimate showed (10 euros extra). After four days, we happened to read a random news article that said the beach at Bizerte was unsafe for swimming since August 2026 because of staphylococcus and salmonella, and no restriction had been lifted. The hotel didn’t bother to inform us upon arrival, which was honestly the bare minimum expected from a four‑star property. As non‑locals, it was hard for us to get that information. After we complained, they replied that the water problem was 1 km away… I won’t elaborate further, but it was very disappointing. We also had a noisy fridge (fixed the next day), a bay window that wouldn’t close (we were on the ground floor), a problem fixed that same day, and the shower tap’s hot water flow was too weak for proper comfort. Additionally, the 30‑dinar deposit for pool towels, which required going through the lifeguard, was inconvenient. The Wi‑Fi was unreliable; bring your own connection. The small shower gel and shampoo bottles were impractical; it would be nice to have refillable bottles mounted on the wall. Finally, we thought the “private beach” was a real private beach with loungers and umbrellas, but it was just direct access to a beautiful clear‑water beach that unfortunately had litter.
