The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were well equipped and beautifully decorated. The restaurant was a fabulous experience. Food and staff were out of this world. A real gem in the Cotswolds. The room was a little small considering my husband is 6’2” and it’s an older property, which cannot be helped.

The staff, facilities, and location were all great, though the breakfast selection could be more extensive; the attic room was too cramped, constantly worrying about bumping my head or back, but it’s fine for teenagers.

The place was fully updated and very posh, with extremely comfortable beds and the best breakfast we’ve had, but I was assigned to the handicap room without any input, even though we booked a long time ago.

This was our second visit and we didn’t let ourselves down; the whole experience was truly wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay the best it could be. A very special shout out to Charlie, who, even during an exceptionally busy weekend, was always there and nothing was too much trouble; we were so grateful for how we and our guests were looked after. Well done and thank you all.
