The Panorama Batur Camp

The view of Mount Batur was outstanding, and we spent a night in a small cabin that only had one bed. The gear was adequate for the stay, and we liked having a kettle and tea available. The bathroom is outdoors, like most places in Bali, and we get there via a little lit trail at night, followed by many steps to reach the different levels—this isn’t safe for kids. The terraces look under construction and lack railings. Dust was on the edges of the bed and bedside table.

We stayed at a well maintained cabin that left us delighted. A private bathroom was a major plus, and the whole property looked great. The hosts were super friendly and helpful the whole time. The view of Mount Batur right outside the cabin was breathtaking, letting us watch both sunrise and sunset from our spot. I’d highly recommend it, and I have no complaints – it was fantastic and I’d definitely return.
