The spot’s location, the perks, and the staff were all spot on. Parking isn’t an option, but that’s not a huge issue.

“Uncomfortable stay, but with big potential.”

The place is in a great spot and the rooms are roomy. However, the upkeep is lacking – walls and closets are in bad shape, the water taps are faulty, the shower feels uncomfortable and the toilet is no better. Accessories are broken, even the towel holder, and water seems to leak constantly, probably from the shower. The shower is dirty, the utilities are old and low quality, the bed is broken and I had to fix it myself. The two extra beds are only meant for kids under eight, so we had to share a bed.

“Batroun stay”

The location is solid. The property could definitely use a renovation, and the cleaner didn’t do a thorough job.

“If you just need to sleep somewhere don’t care about anything else this is perfect.”

The price and availability were the only positives, and the location was decent. The beds were comfy. The directions were followed via a video call, but we were dropped at the wrong spot. No taxi could find the place. The owner gave us a wrong address and then demanded we pay for a golf cart to bring our bags to the correct location. I was told no soap, the ironing board was an antique iron that was broken, and the door to the second room was locked, forcing me to sleep in the same bed with my mum. It took over 30 minutes to get the second door opened, so it was basically one bedroom at first. The kitchen needed cleaning before use. It’s a guest house, not a hotel, as I was reminded.

The spot was good. The apartment wasn’t available at 15 h, and some instructions about the keys weren’t given to us when we arrived.
