It’s an awesome place to break up our travels, and breakfast was good.

Last night I heard a sudden, loud pounding on my hotel room door. When I looked out the peephole, no one was there, and I was frightened. Minutes later it happened again. The front desk said it was probably kids having fun. Someone went to my floor to see what was happening, but I had no follow‑up. I went to bed fearing someone was going to break into my room. Fortunately, it didn’t happen again. I’ve stayed in hotels around the country and on four continents, and this never happened before. Based on the clientele this property attracts, I’d be afraid to come back.

The side doors near the parking lot are convenient and the rooms are nicely sized, but I was assigned a room next to I‑95 and felt like I was on the highway all night, making it hard to relax; also, there was no digital clock in the suite.
