Simplicity, friendliness and the care of never leaving you short on comfort or local activities, all thanks to a genuine expert in charge. I’m currently sitting on a stone by the Paiva River, and without her enthusiasm and knowledge it would never have been part of the equation, just like yesterday’s celebrations of Senhora do Monte and tomorrow’s in Lamego for Senhora da Agonia, and so much more to see, participate in, and explore all year round – you just have to ask Mónica. *****

The price was good and the neighborhood pleasant. The only negatives were that it was very noisy, the door between the rooms made me feel insecure, there was no view as advertised, and the comfort was not what I expected.
