Le jardin et l'emplacement étaient top. Le ménage était inégal selon les chambres, l'une plutôt propre et l'autre vraiment sale (kit de rasage utilisé et en train de prendre la poussière dans la salle de bain, clim non nettoyée).

The host and family were wonderful; their cooking was amazing, especially during the off‑season when most nearby places were closed.

The house is surrounded by a beautifully maintained mix of small and large plants, and Marari beach is just a 5‑minute walk away—a clean, white‑sand beach perfect for strolling, though not safe for swimming because of high tides, strong waves, and no lifeguards. Breakfast had limited choices but was homemade and tasty, featuring traditional Kerala‑style kadla (chana) curry with unlimited soft appam, hot tea/coffee, and some fruit.

The host was friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi right away for early‑morning departure, and offering a chance to enjoy a home‑cooked dinner that was tasty. The place is close to the beach, where there’s a small bed and a parasol. It’s basic, but a toilet seat would have been nice.
