I had a very nice room with a balcony and a grand view of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The hotel staff were not only extraordinarily friendly but also a great help with my luggage problem. All in all, highly recommended!

The station in Grindelwald is very close and the gentle slope of the road makes it easy to bring a suitcase. The room view was so amazing that I wondered if it was possible at this price. The room was quite large, and breakfast was tidy and good. Highly recommend!

“Centrally located and perfect for exploring Grindelwald”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were spotless and well maintained, breakfast was tasty, and the location was super convenient to the train station and just a 15‑minute walk from the First and Pfingsteg gondolas and Grindelwald Terminal. The view from the Eiger View room was amazing! The building itself is beautiful as well! The room looked newly renovated, which was great! The hotel sits on the main road, so the traffic noise from cars and trucks can become annoying, especially for light sleepers. Closing the doors and windows helps a bit, but you can still hear it. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbors dragged furniture and suitcases and made a lot of noise from one end of their room to the other until 11 pm every night, so if you have inconsiderate people above you you’ll be on their sleep schedule. I was woken up by their stomping when they went to the bathroom at 3 am, even though I sleep with ear plugs.

“Great location, rooms were clean, and staff was very helpful”

The location was good and breakfast was very good, but there was no view. The rooms felt like dorm rooms and weren’t very cozy.
