I love the hotel’s location and the staff, especially the breakfast experience, which is second to none. Some rooms are slightly dated but in good condition. I’ve stayed 5–6 times, each time in a different room—this is a big hotel!

We had a great view from the room we booked, the staff were friendly, the food was excellent, and there were plenty of quality seating areas. The room, especially for the price, should be faultless; it needs a few fixes: the coffee machine needs cleaning, the bathroom mirror has duct tape around it, and the windows need washing.

I liked that the hotel had a lift because I’m not good with stairs. It could have been clearer, but otherwise it was fine.

The bar staff were lovely and friendly. The room was next to a service cupboard and was noisy all night; the hotel should either soundproof that area or not sell that room, and my request for a quiet room was ignored.
