“Sconsiglio ma grandissimo potenziale! Peccato!”
The building looked like a 4‑star place when it was first built, but over time it’s clear that proper maintenance hasn’t been a priority, which is a shame because it has great potential. The mattresses are very comfortable, rooms are spacious with laminate flooring, and you can request split single beds if needed. The buffet breakfast offers a wide range of salty and sweet items. From the room balconies you get a stunning view of the mountains, and the free parking is very large. Unfortunately, the welcome was rushed and no one at reception asked about our plans for the stay, something we would have appreciated especially since it was our first time in that area, so we didn’t feel the need to ask. The breakfast lacked fresh or particularly local items; everything seemed pre‑packed or not fresh. We didn’t notice anything until half‑past midnight when a village‑style festival erupted in the streets across from the hotel, with loud music and fireworks that lasted for several minutes even after midnight and again at 8:00 a.m., sounding like hand‑held bombs, which was completely at odds with the quiet atmosphere one seeks in such places, especially given the wildlife nearby. The area around the restaurant is empty, and if you need basic items like water or toothpaste you have to drive at least half an hour to find a supermarket. I would suggest the owner invest in a general upgrade of the rooms (USB ports, better cleaning and plumbing in the bathrooms), hire qualified reception staff, and discuss with the local municipality the enforcement of national noise‑disturbance laws in public areas. I personally would not return or recommend it.
