“I’ve been in Dar Surf with two friends just for one day and one night, but, I’m pretty sure I’ll be back to stay there a”
I stayed at Dar Surf with two friends for just one day and night, but I’m sure I’ll return. Kareem and Ismail were incredibly kind and ready to help with anything: custom surf lesson times, transfers, whatever we needed. The hostel’s cleaning standard beats all others, with common restrooms and spaces cleaned daily. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have plenty of luggage space and power outlets. A special mention for the breakfast, made by two gentle ladies—it was the best we’ve had in Morocco! The best spot in Thagazout!
“We loved it!”
The staff was super nice, and the room was good too.
“tired”
The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, daily surf lessons were available with pick‑up/drop‑off to good spots, and the rooftop was nice. The neighborhood was very loud, and because there’s no air conditioning—unless you want your room to feel like a furnace—you had to keep the windows open, so we didn’t sleep at all. It didn’t seem like a particularly social hostel either, although we didn’t stay long.
Karim gave us a great welcome, the place was very clean and organized both in the rooms and shared areas. Lots of activities (surf, yoga…) were offered. The breakfast was amazing.
Everything was fine.
