The bed was comfortable and there was a powder room downstairs, plus a small fridge in the room. The doors squeaked, the temperature kept changing unpredictably, and it’s not really a Bed and Breakfast—except maybe during a festival—so that should be clearly stated.

It was close to town, and I loved the furnishings and modern conveniences; I felt at home. Chris, the innkeeper, was very accommodating and helped us move from an upstairs room to a downstairs one after the first night. The bed in our first room was noisy when you got in and out of it.

The location was fantastic, the setting beautiful, and it felt like stepping back in time; the bed was very comfortable and the home‑away‑from‑home amenities were all there. Homemade muffins added a nice touch, and the room had an ice machine, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee area ☕️. I loved everything about this charming home. Walking one block to downtown gave me plenty of shopping options, and I highly recommend the Rainbow Cafe for lunch and dinner. Mountain View is a lovely country town to visit and stay at Ozark Country Inn! The Blanchard Springs Caverns tour was wonderful. I can’t think of any downside—this place goes above and beyond to make you feel at home!
