The room was spacious with a single double bed and matched the photos; the bathroom was a bit small but not a big issue, the staff were friendly, we could leave our luggage at the hotel without extra cost, the location was superb, there were power outlets by the bed, the shower had hot water (not always guaranteed in Peru), and the Wi‑Fi signal was good. However, when we arrived the hotel seemed a bit neglected; nobody was at the front desk and it took a while for a staff member to appear. Inside the room there was poor blackout, so light came in quickly, and the thin windows let in noise and cold wind, making the room chilly. The décor could use a refresh; it looked somewhat dated, not everything was tidy (ants in the bathroom, stains on the duvet cover, carpet on the floor that looked gray instead of white), and there was only one nightstand on one side of the bed.

The location was excellent, but the cleanliness and facilities were lacking, and breakfast started too late for tourists.
