You can’t heat the water, which is a shame! Soundproofing between the lightweight capsules is decent. The rest is very good. The only downside is an electric kettle.

Central location, comfy beds, pleasant vibe, friendly staff, affordable space. In a hostel you usually expect young people, parties, noise, but that’s not the case here. The average age of guests we saw was around 40+, and everyone was aware of the noise level, so we never had any complaints. Even though many pods were occupied, there was never a line for the shower or toilet. Everything was very tidy and clean. Absolutely recommended if you want a cheap yet comfortable stay in Dordrecht. The pod was very hot, even though the room itself was cool. Also, as older, less agile people, getting in and out of the bed with a step‑like platform was a real challenge. That won’t stop us from booking again if we need another night in Dordrecht, but we would definitely ask for a lower bed. Another small improvement: a changing area (separate from the shower/toilet) with a sink and mirror would add value. It was a bit cramped in the tight shower space, and because the mirror was high, I had to style my hair in the toilet. Not ideal, but definitely not a disaster, just a note. ☺️
