I didn’t notice the check‑in application requirement due to my itinerary, so thanks to the staff for their proactive contact. Overall, the location is prime (just one street from Kaohsiung train station), offering a quiet spot in a busy area. The only issue was the loud AC noise inside the room, which affected my sleep. Regarding the building’s age, I strongly recommend that the accommodation place affix warnings on the outside or inside of each bathroom, clearly stating that toilet paper and personal hygiene items must not be flushed to avoid clogs.

I like the place; it’s convenient, within walking distance to the station and food spots nearby, and it’s great for solo travelers—safe, comfortable, and a good stay. No negatives.

The spot is great, check‑in is a breeze, and the upstairs lounge is a nice place to eat. There are plenty of showers and bathrooms, and the room is roomy enough. Turning an old house into a hostel gives the stay a unique feel. The door lock is loud; every time someone opens or closes it, it rattles everyone in the room. Noise can also come from the corridor, where people talk loudly on the phone or with each other until late. Showers are fine, but the toilets feel a bit dirty. Some of these issues depend on the guests, but clearer rules should be posted.

The host responded quickly and was always helpful, even when I booked at the last minute and needed to pay on the spot. The bathroom sink is almost completely empty of storage, so brushing my teeth is very inconvenient.
