“Nettes Hotel im Schwarzwald”

The staff were extremely courteous, the old building was nicely renovated and comfortable, and everything else was perfect. The breakfast buffet could have offered a bit more variety.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty; with few guests, instead of a buffet, they brought everything to the table—three rolls, cheese, jam, honey, and even scrambled eggs. Sodas and yogurt were also available, and I was allowed to take the remaining rolls for my hike. The room was clean and lovely, the hosts were attentive and very nice, and they had already informed us that the restaurant would close in the evening. The only nuisance was the street noise, but otherwise I felt very comfortable.

“Zeer de moeite waard en mochten we in de buurt zijn, dan komen we zeker terug.”

Friendly staff, good food, great breakfast, but noisy from the adjacent road.

“Très agréable.”

The staff greeted us warmly, the bedding was good and the rooms were clean. Breakfasts were small but the meals were hearty, and the beer was good too.
