The room was clean, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the hotel is very close to the train station—great for a one‑night stay but not ideal for longer. The mosque on Friday nights was unbelievably loud; after seven weeks in Indonesia we’ve never experienced anything like it, though every hotel in town seems to have the same problem. The air‑conditioning isn’t that cold.
