“Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere”
The location was convenient, but the hotel smelled bad and there were sketchy people hanging around at night; the scent of marijuana filled the halls and we didn’t feel safe, so we got up at 6 am and left as soon as possible.
Balam was incredibly helpful and hardworking, and the renovations—especially the new floors—really made the place feel clean. Breakfast was well done, and overall it offers great value.

The price was affordable and the location was good, but the bathroom was tiny, the air conditioner kept having problems, tape was holding the electronic key readers on the doors, and there was no smoke alarm in our room.

The check‑in took forever, the floor in my room was filthy, and a dead bug was hiding under the fitted bed sheet; the beds themselves were very uncomfortable. The hallway carpets were also dirty, and the DIY‑style upgrades around the property look tacky and unprofessional. The price is WAY too high for what’s offered.
