I loved the Ryokan – it was cozy and the staff were very welcoming.

We had stayed at this ryokan before and after a trip to Oze National Park. The owners’ hospitality was amazing. We arrived at 6 PM and first turned down their offer to arrange food; an hour later, after we changed our minds, they quickly set everything up and we enjoyed a wonderful authentic Japanese meal. The rooms were classic, cozy, and authentic, and we also enjoyed the onsen a lot, both inside and outside. No complaints.

The building looked great, the ski locker was super handy and close to Hodaigai Ski Field, and the dinners were amazing; nothing else to note.

I didn’t sleep there because the room was full of bugs and the property was run down; everything inside was dated and infested.
