The place was peaceful, the room comfortable, the location good, and the gardens lovely. There was no kitchen area, no microwave, or anything to heat food or brew tea, but otherwise the facilities were clean, safe, and well‑situated.

I liked the location and the room space, but the noise and lack of staff were annoying.

The room was clean except for the duvet; the accommodation is a Salesian house, which should be announced. I didn't mind that, but logically there were children disrupting sleep from 8 am, with a lot of noise, and our room faced a football pitch where they played, making rest impossible. Also, there was no hot water and the outlets didn't work.

The cleaning was good, but the total lack of professionalism was frustrating: someone was missing, they didn't answer the phone, called back at the wrong time and claimed the issue was solved, then ignored and hung up without polite farewell. Only the staff member I eventually found was kind. Thankfully it’s a Salesian house, but manners are sorely lacking.
