Located 700 metres from Praia do Boldro Beach, Ecocharme Pousada do Marcilio features free Wi-Fi in the business centre, an outdoor pool, and proximity to Projeto Tamar marine turtle conservation centre (150 metres away) and Sueste Beach (2.5 km away). The room was clean, spacious, and pleasant. We appreciated the sheets and pillows, and every staff member was extremely helpful. Gaby, the receptionist, made our stay extra special, and the breakfast was hearty and varied.

Honestly, there’s not much to praise, except maybe staying behind Fernão o Loco, a decent island restaurant. The value for money is terrible: rooms lack windows and basic amenities yet cost over 800,00 per night in peak season. Breakfast was okay, service average, and the photos online are misleading. I felt cheated.

The hotel's rooms were pleasant, with comfortable beds and linens, and a pool to enjoy. However, the breakfast service was slow, and the proximity to the kitchen or restaurant made some rooms quite noisy. Unfortunately, the guest's room lacked a hair dryer, and they had to wait for it to be delivered.

The hotel's location was convenient, being close to a large beach and a supermarket, and the rooms were situated around a lovely garden. However, the guest felt that the hotel was overpriced for what it offered, and there were several issues with the facilities.
