Motel 6-Lewisville, TX - Medical City

Nothing positive; weeds and smoking everywhere, and the staff gave me the wrong room with a dog and poo everywhere—I even stepped on the poo without knowing it from the guys at customer service. I’m really disappointed and will never stay there again.

The only positive thing about this property was that the room was clean; everything else was a disappointment. We had booked a king bed for two, but the room we received had a queen bed, so I called the front desk, where the lady promised to fix it and asked us to return downstairs. After returning, she apologized and moved us to another room, but that room had two queen beds instead. I asked her why we weren’t getting what I reserved, and she said there were no king beds available because one had roaches and the other had a broken TV. She claimed she gave us this room at the same price because she thought we would be more comfortable, but we actually prefer sleeping in the same bed together. The next day the only elevator in the building broke, so we had to climb four flights of stairs to reach the fourth floor. Other than the room being clean, we were not happy with our stay, and there were no refrigerators or anything to keep my insulin cold.

“Due to the lady approaching me in the hall it made me feel unsafe.”

I get up at 4 am, but the coffee doesn’t start until 6 am at the motel, and construction on the roads makes it harder to get to the location. My first room lacked a fridge and microwave, and a woman approached me wanting me to help her in her room with a human‑trafficking trick; I was moved to another room on a different floor.

“A clean room should not mean you have to be unsafe or get hurt!!”

The staff was okay and the room was clean, but the tub was slick and had no safety bars, so I fell twice while showering.

“Horrible, nerve wracking, uncomfortable”

I was initially happy with the price, but roaches roaches roaches—after discovering multiple roaches on my second night I was denied a refund, and there was also a weird engraving on my headboard and the bathroom walls looked dilapidated.
