ALERO Seaside Skyros Resort

The location was fantastic with very easy access, right on the sea. The Amerissa restaurant inside the hotel served amazing food and a wide selection of wines. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and the facilities were very modern! It was our first time there for a Pilates retreat and we will definitely come back without hesitation!

We had a really lovely stay. The room was immaculate from the moment we arrived, and the standard of cleanliness was kept up throughout, both in the room and across the rest of the hotel. It's clear the housekeeping team take real pride in their work. The staff deserve special mention. Everyone we dealt with, from reception to the breakfast team, was friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel very welcome. Overall, a very positive experience. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area

“Όλα ήταν υπέροχα”

We arrived for work with my colleague Eri on the beautiful island of Skiros. We chose the Alero Seaside Resort based on customer reviews because it was the first on the sea and we hoped for a nice bar. The welcome from Alexandra at reception and the vibe of the hotel in such a calm September convinced us from the start. Despite our busy schedule, we enjoyed dinner at the hotel’s Amersi restaurant, which served goat and lamb with vegetables, and we highlighted the beef carpaccio. The cocktails from Jacobo were amazing. I hope to return next year for a family holiday.

The location was nice, the breakfast tasty but sparse. The bathroom was excessively narrow, to get into the shower you literally had to do gymnastics over the toilet. The mattress was very hard and unyielding, and the private pool for each room was more for laughs than for swimming. The safe was just decorative, meaning you had to carry everything with you. Overall, my experience was very bad and the value for money was unacceptable.

A magnificent seaside hotel. The feeling of being both with family and in a very beautiful, high-class hotel. The staff and owners are incredibly kind. The restaurant and breakfast are exceptional. The luxury family room has its own pool perfect for children. Everything is well maintained, especially the garden, and tastefully decorated. A little piece of paradise. No complaints.
