“Instalaciones buenas, servicio muy mejorable”

The pools were clean, shuttle service was good (Carlos, the driver, is the best), rooms were large and clean. Reception service was poor; they tried to sell you a membership and insisted you attend a meeting, asking intrusive questions. Breakfast is not included as such, it’s not a buffet; you’re given 30 dollars per couple per day, which is half the cost. Booking should not list it as included. You have to pay extra for all activities, so why is there a resort fee? They need to be clearer about this.

“Great Resort, customer service, not so much”

The resort is very large and offers many amenities. A wide range of activities were available. The check‑in process was a nightmare. We waited over an hour to check‑in only to be given the wrong unit type, different from what we booked. Staff arranged the correct unit type, but we waited in the parking lot until almost 9 pm (5 hours total) before we could access our unit. When we finally entered, pillowcases had not been changed from the previous guests and had makeup on them. We received a confirmation text that our unit was ready, the next day.

The villa was stocked and very clean, but I didn’t see any note that the facilities had separate prices for children when I booked the room.
