The service was very good, the facilities stayed clean, and the staff were friendly and close to the monumental clock and the city center. The breakfast, however, only offered coffee and hotcakes, the streets around the hotel were very dark, and it felt unsafe to go out at night.

The room was comfortable, the bed was great and the location couldn’t be better, but the TV wasn’t a smart one and the “half‑board” meal turned out to be just two hotcakes and a cup of coffee, which was far from pleasant.

The experience fell short of expectations due to deficiencies in service and overall maintenance of the facilities. During my stay I noticed a clear lack of staff, especially in the restaurant area, forcing employees to perform very different tasks—e.g., the staff that run the restaurant one day have to clean the bathrooms the next, which I find unacceptable. I reported some issues at reception, and the response was that they operate as a franchise, which I think is not a valid excuse for not meeting the four‑star service standards they claim. The continental breakfast service is extremely limited and lacks variety, consisting of two mini hotcakes, coffee or tea, orange juice, and only one fruit option (melon, watermelon, pineapple, or papaya). If the fruit runs out, the wait time to replenish it is about 20 minutes. The hotcakes are served immediately upon arrival, so they cool quickly if not eaten right away. If you like a varied meal, this hotel is not an option. The room has serious maintenance problems: the shower faucet handles are incomplete, the iron doesn’t work, and both the toilet and shower clog constantly.
