Breakfast was good, the location was good. Nothing really, everything was perfectly fine.

The location is ideal, just a few steps from the Aarequai and pedestrian zones, very clean, with a beautiful view of the castle. The bathroom was a bit small, making it hard to store toiletries.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast buffet was fine, it was right in the middle of the old town, the rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bike storage was private. As a solo traveler it was rather expensive.

Across the street is a bus stop Berntor; taking line 1 reaches the train station in 3 stops. Although walking from the station isn’t far, the terrain there is sloped, so carrying luggage is difficult, so with baggage it’s better to take the bus. The breakfast staff were friendly. When booking, because other hotels in the Tuen area were fully booked, I had no choice but to book this one. It turned out that it was the only available room, which made sense. The price was CHF259 per night, and the room could be described as barebones; opening the door was a shock. The photo showed a telephone, but in reality there was no phone. Nothing at all, very rudimentary, a lodge would have been better. In other parts of Switzerland, even the cheaper hotels were much better, so the value for money is zero.
