I don’t know. The quality of the hotel is declining; at the same price, Prague offers better quality and better breakfast, it feels like they’re cutting corners, and it’s noticeable. The tiny shower was problematic to enter and to exit.

If you want to feel like royalty in Prague, this place is a must‑stay! The spot is spot on—just beside a lovely park and the river, and a short walk to Charles Bridge and most of Prague’s highlights. The building itself looks stunning and opulent, full of character and history, with flags, maps, suits of armor and other medieval touches that make it feel like a castle. Our room was roomy, immaculately clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need, plus little thoughtful extras that made the stay even more special. The staff really stood out; after we mentioned our wedding anniversary once, we were greeted with a bottle of wine waiting in our room—an unexpected, heartfelt gesture that made the celebration unforgettable. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide selection that catered to everyone, and eating in a medieval‑style hall surrounded by armor was a unique experience that made each morning memorable. The staff were friendly, professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also appreciated the complimentary afternoon snacks, another nice touch. Every aspect of this hotel—location, atmosphere, room, breakfast, staff, and those little details—went beyond our expectations. We had one of the best vacations ever, and Pytloun Old Armoury played a huge part in that. Rating: 11/10!
