The neighborhood is packed with restaurants, so finding a bite was never a problem. The front desk team was genuinely friendly, and the Baolian Temple is just a little over two kilometres away if you feel like exploring. Overall, a pleasant spot for a short stay.

I chose this place because it welcomes foreign guests, and the staff lived up to that promise with a warm welcome and quick help—like when the cleaning lady slipped me an extra blanket on a chilly night. The room stayed tidy, and I still catch myself thinking about the amazing shower gel scent. The only downsides were the aging towels and the fact that the nearest 7‑Eleven is a short walk away, so you’ll need a delivery app for snacks.

The room felt roomy enough to move around comfortably, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the walls are showing their age—paint is flaking in several spots and could use a fresh coat.

This hotel was surprisingly comfortable: breakfast cost just 22 yuan per person, the A/C kept the room cool, and the beds were cozy with slippers, towels, bottled water, and toothbrushes all provided. The staff were friendly and, despite only speaking Chinese, helped me out using a translation app. The only gripe was the poorly sealed window on the ninth floor, which let in a lot of traffic noise, though earplugs solved the problem.
