The hotel itself was spot‑on – clean rooms and staff who actually cared. It's just a bit out of the way, far from both the Canton Fair venue and the city centre, which made getting around a hassle. The only real downside was the spotty internet and the fact that WhatsApp messages barely got through.

The team was fantastic, especially Wing Wing and Jim Chen, who helped with every question I had. The rooms in the main building are spacious and comfortable, and the tea and coffee were surprisingly good. I also enjoyed the little pond in the garden, and the hotel’s spot in Panyu puts you close to the quirky “Another Art Museum” (Lingyi Art Gallery).

The newer main building feels a lot nicer than the two older wings, and the deluxe rooms there are roomy and comfy. Staff are consistently friendly and quick to assist. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi is weak, and I kept hearing smoke on the non‑smoking floor – the front desk said there wasn’t much they could do about it.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered solid value for the price, with staff who were attentive and helpful. The only hitch is that the hotel sits outside the main city area, so getting into town takes a bit longer.
