The whole experience at the riad felt like a blend of Moroccan charm and modern comforts; the host, Hamid, was discreetly helpful whenever needed, the local souk was just a short walk away, and there were plenty of rooftop restaurants and cafés nearby – we highly recommend it and plan to return. There was absolutely nothing wrong, everything we needed was available.

I was welcomed into a large, tidy bedroom and offered tea upon arrival; the owner was very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp, which was reassuring for a solo traveller, and the nearby restaurant Vrai tradionelle made my nighttime arrival in Marakesh memorable.
