“Great hotel, beautiful city amazing people”

The room was fantastic: big, airy, comfortable, with a spacious bath, a rain shower, and a standard shower head. On‑site amenities were impressive, including the spa and pool. The convenience store’s back door lets guests avoid a walk around the block and is conveniently located near the mall and local food stalls. The locals are wonderful and take great pride in their city; as a foreigner you’ll be stared at because foreigners are uncommon in Xiangyang, but if you greet them in Chinese when staring, you get a warm welcome. When I return to Xiangyang again, I don’t think there’s any hotel I’d rather stay at than the Crowne Wanda. The Wi‑Fi was pretty bad, and the rooms didn’t seem well sound‑proofed; the room next door was up most of the night talking and shouting loudly on the last night.

Our stay at this hotel was a pleasant one, thanks to its excellent breakfast buffet, friendly and attentive staff, and clean, well-decorated rooms. The hotel's location was also a major plus, making it easy to get around and explore the surrounding area.

“Friendly staff, poor facility, poorly organised”

Our stay at this hotel was marred by subpar facilities and a series of unfortunate events, including a poorly functioning air conditioning system, a clogged shower drain, and a breakfast experience that was both overpriced and unappetizing. The check-in process was also a source of frustration, with the staff failing to verify our booking details and causing unnecessary confusion.
