“Great little place to get away.”

I loved the attention to detail, like the BBQ set up, a fire set up (I’d recommend a fire glove for people to use), and milk and orange in the fridge. Those little things made a big difference. If I had to pick something, the cycle path going down is scary but it’s also okay; don’t let it put you off. The locals seemed fine when we drove down; our car is huge and it fitted fine too. But I did feel like I was breaking a rule, lol.

“Wonderful getaway in a countryside location, highly recommended, would definitely return”

The location is beautiful, with chickens visiting and horses nearby. The hosts were very welcoming. The hut is lovely and fully equipped. It’s so cute and cozy, rustic and charming—a romantic getaway near Hadrian’s Wall. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom/shower is lovely.

“Fantastic place and highly recommended”

A charming spot with hosts who were incredibly attentive, right by the riverside for walks and a pub for food or drinks, and it’s amazing how much they fit into the space; definitely coming back.
