The gentleman who handled our breakfast was fantastic, very social and on top of his game; after 25 years in customer service I appreciate someone who loves their job, he was first class. The bartender could use some customer‑service training; maybe he was just having a bad night and had an attitude problem.

Building work caused a lot of noise and the Wi‑Fi was down for a week.

“Clean, quiet. Pet friendly is a bonus.”

We didn’t eat breakfast, and for the price of the room a complimentary breakfast would have been nice. We had to change rooms because of a plugged toilet and a heater that didn’t work. A coffee machine would have helped; with two people there was only one caffeinated K‑cup and the rest was decaf. They could be a bit more generous with these things, especially since we paid a good price for the room.

I'm extremely disappointed with the hotel's handling of our lost items. We had left some essential clothes in the room, and when we went to retrieve them, the front desk staff claimed they weren't there. However, we're certain we left them, and it's likely that the cleaning staff took them - we're talking about a pair of ladies' sweatpants and Christmas pajamas. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths.
