“Hostile, insulting host and no top sheet for the bed. Avoid.”

You can order simple food directly at the property, and the food was prepared quickly. The Wi‑Fi is good. Despite the Wi‑Fi and food, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had in Bali. The room itself isn’t very clean, there is no sink, and they don’t even provide toilet paper unless you explicitly request it. Moreover, if you book a fan room, they don’t give you a top sheet or blanket—only a bottom sheet on the mattress. When I messaged the host on WhatsApp about the missing blanket, they refused and became incredibly aggressive, hostile, and insulting. The host openly mocked me, used laughing emojis, and told me it “doesn’t make sense” to expect a sheet to sleep under unless paying for a luxury AC room. They even compared asking for a sheet to asking for a “free motorbike.” When I told them their attitude would lead to a bad review, they scoffed, said they “could wait for that,” and claimed people would laugh at me. I’ve stayed in many cheap homestays across Bali for 100k IDR or less where cleanliness, basic bathroom amenities, and mutual respect are standard. This host is combative and completely unsuited for hospitality. I had to block them to stop the harassment. Do not stay here.

Nothing good! Everything was dirty, the blanket smelled bad, and under the bed was a half‑dead gecko that was definitely not there yesterday. There were many spiders and other animals on the walls that hadn’t been cleaned for months. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we both had muscle tension the next day. The spider webs and insects that are shown in the photos are unfortunately not visible. If only 1–2 € were invested, everything could be cleaned, the walls repainted, and it would be fine. But old fingernails under the mattress and other signs of neglect show a level of carelessness that is unparalleled! The wardrobe and the area under the bed had not been cleaned for at least four months. It was just left to rot… terrible!

The rooms are extremely simple yet very clean. Keep in mind that this is the local standard, so it isn’t comparable to Western ones. Still, for the price it’s a great deal, and the owner arranges cheap dolphin‑swimming tours, taxi transfers, etc.

Very nice place, you get your own bungalow and bathroom. The walls are thin, but otherwise the bed was very comfortable.
