“A bright, cheery, historic home”
The warmth and hospitality of the host and staff. Graça is the personification of well…GRACiousness. The property is a late nineteenth century historic home, lovingly restored, tastefully decorated, with a fully modern kitchen. An inviting terrace garden off the kitchen awaits for a cozy afternoon tea. The morning breakfast was far more than I expected, homemade banana bread, delicious piping hot coffee and eggs any way you prefer them. The property sits right in the heart of the historic University of Coimbra and is readily accessible to the Metro and bus services, fine dining and quick eateries. The bustling Praça do Commercio shopping and dining district is a 25 minute walk down the hill. Can’t think of any negatives other than don’t trust Google maps to find your way there. 😮 The old town districts of Porto have so many narrow alley’s and stairways, making navigation challenging. Use Apple Maps instead
