“Recommend thus hotel”

We were welcomed by a lovely, smiling receptionist who gave us all the information we needed; the room was a good size with a large bed and two chairs for comfortable seating, the bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower, a bath, a toilet, and large, good‑quality bath towels, so I’d recommend this hotel in its beautiful rural setting, though the pillows were a problem—one was insufficient, two were too many, and the sheets or mattress didn’t give me the best sleep.

“Enjoyable stay.”

The bedrooms were large and the shower hot, the bath was big, and the golf course was excellent, but the food was average and the bar prices were expensive.

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were too hot, the bed sheets didn’t look clean, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, and the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied.

“Great value stay for cycling in borders”

The staff were very nice, the room was clean and spacious with a big bed, the bathroom had a shower and a bath, breakfast was really good, and the spa facilities were great and easy to use, although there were limited vegan options for dinner that could be altered easily.
