The view is good. Dogs and their waste around, bad smell, very unkempt, the one breakfast we had was cold.

“Schöne Strandhäuser direkt am indischen Ozean”

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in April, with a spacious room featuring a generous layout over two levels in warm wooden tones. The hotel's restaurant was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who accommodated my special requests, including providing fresh and delicious fruit. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a range of continental and local dishes served on a beautiful terrace with a stunning ocean view. The hotel's pool and spa area were also a great addition.

“Disappointing - if it was updated and given some focus this place could be fabulous but sadly now it’s no”

I was initially drawn to this hotel's stunning beachside location, which had the potential to be a perfect getaway. However, upon closer inspection, I was disappointed to find that the hotel fell short of its 5-star promise, with a run-down appearance and a lack of facilities. When the hotel wasn't catering to a large group, it seemed to shut down completely, with no staff on site and limited access to the main road.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was marred by a receptionist who struggled with English and didn't quite live up to the standard of hospitality I've come to expect. The location, which I didn't get to explore thoroughly, seemed to be a major selling point.
