“Überraschende Unterkunft; für Polenrundreisen sehr zu empfehlen”

The quiet seclusion with the building’s location directly on its own lake, the consistent execution of the art theme right into the rooms combined with the very friendly staff are the big pluses. The complex is a Gesamtkunstwerk and defies a precise description, it must be seen. Breakfast was tailored to Polish tastes (salty) and plentiful. The restaurant closes early in the evening (like the nearby Wongrowitz). The beds in the bedroom of the large holiday house have very thin uncomfortable mattresses; shifting to a sofa bed in the living room solved the problem. The beds in the rooms of the main building were flawless.

“Nieudany pobyt”

The only thing we liked was the view of the lake and the stylish room. We couldn't use the water or any water equipment because getting onto the pier to reach the pole or a kayak was difficult; the water was dirty, swimming was banned, so we could only watch it. This is my first negative review of the hotel overall. We left before evening, so we didn't stay overnight or have breakfast. A staff member called us that night and asked if we were returning; when I said we had already gone home because the hotel didn't meet our expectations, I heard only “Aha, thanks for the info,” which felt like a weak customer approach. I didn't expect a refund for the roughly 3‑hour stay, but I did expect understanding and perhaps an apology that we didn't like the place. That's all, and it turns out there's a lot more.

The room’s décor was fantastic, the lake view during breakfast, and the total quiet and peace were the main perks of this spot. The only drawback was the lack of a fridge in the room, which matters in summer, especially if you don’t want to leave the premises during your stay.
