We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Siquijor; the rooms were gorgeous, spotless, cozy, and impeccably kept. What really set the place apart was the owner, Rina. After checking out, I realized I’d left my pricey favourite pyjamas behind—something I couldn’t buy again—so Rina kindly arranged to ship them back to Malaysia, even refusing payment for the extra effort. “Bon séjour, venait à Siquijor”

The hotel is fairly modern and expanding, and you can book transport to move around the island. The staff are helpful. Breakfast is modest but the pancakes are good. The housekeeping is average: dust under the bed. There’s no divider between the shower and toilet, so flooding happens. It’s very noisy with poor insulation—cars, dogs, roosters. The smell of wet dog is present, and the Wi‑Fi is unreliable.

The reception ladies were friendly and helped us find scooters and taxis, and the location is close to Tulob for snorkeling. The hotel is near the road, which can be annoying, and the restaurant is no longer operating.
