It was very quiet and peaceful; the only thing I’d change is a bigger shower, otherwise there were no problems.

The hotel is run with care and affection. We stayed in the dependance, a bit dated but very spacious with very comfortable beds. The pool could have warmer water (common in many hotels), but the sauna and breakfast were excellent. What makes this place special is the owners’ kindness and generosity, which makes me want to come back! Well done.

The hotel offers everything you need for a memorable ski holiday. It sits on a quiet street—important because the village center is loud—yet it’s only 200 m from the Clotes lift, and the return trip is just as easy. If the weather allows, you can unwind outside in the afternoon sun with a wine from the bar. It’s a real pleasure. There’s a sauna and pool for cold days, but we didn’t use them. Our family room was probably the best in the hotel, with a separate street entrance and a huge space for skis and gear inside. Rooms in the main building are likely smaller. The staff is fantastic. Fabiana was extremely helpful, arranging restaurant reservations for us and giving great recommendations. Check out Old Inn and Ribate if you can. The village center is just 350 m down the street, so everything is close. The hotel has a restaurant that serves good breakfast (usually included) and dinner if you book the HB option. Overall, we were very happy with the stay and would recommend the Hotel Splendid without hesitation. Breakfast varied a bit from day to day, and the coffee from the machine wasn’t tasty, so we switched to tea.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The family room in the annex was perfect for our ski trip, with four singles in two rooms. The team even went out of their way to recommend and book some excellent local restaurants for us. The location was ideal, and we truly enjoyed our time here.
