Located in Rome’s Prati district, Cardinal Vatican Inn offers free Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioned rooms with flat‑screen TVs, private bathrooms, free toiletries and hairdryers. Each of the three boutique suites has its own entrance; a shared kitchen provides a microwave, coffee machine and kettle. A typical Italian breakfast is served nearby. The Vatican Museums, St Peter’s Basilica, Ottaviano Metro (350 m) and Castel Sant’Angelo (15 min walk) are within easy reach.

The accommodation is in the city centre, everything is within walking distance! Public transport is very good too! We arrived easily, even though we were early. The host had already contacted us two days before! Elie was friendly and helpful during our stay! We had breakfast at a nearby café! We had a wonderful 4 days in Rome! Next time I’d choose this place again! I highly recommend it to everyone! Anikó

The room is decent, basic lodging – just come, wash up, sleep, and leave. Plus the option for early check‑in and leaving luggage on the day of departure. Regular contact with staff. The location is good relative to the Vatican, and the Colosseum or Spanish Steps are about a half‑hour by metro, definitely. Breakfast at a café 5 minutes away, one person got a sweet croissant, savory cross, coffee, and a 0.2 L orange drink in a plastic bottle (could have been for two days). The area is so rich in cafés and restaurants that you can have breakfast in town. The room is quite small for 3 people, no specific view, too much nagging about the municipal fee. Value for money – too expensive. The mattress on the large bed is too soft.

The location is excellent, very close to the Vatican. The room was clean and chic. Having a Smart TV in the room was a plus. Communication with the host was very quick and easy. The host helped us with instructions on how to access the room and gave us restaurant recommendations nearby. Breakfast was very good. We received vouchers that we used at a nearby café. Breakfast included a sandwich, something sweet – a croissant, coffee, and orange juice.

The place was spotless and the spot in the city was great. The breakfast at the restaurant blew me away, especially the egg and tomato sandwich which was delicious. The staff were very helpful. However, there was no bottled water in the room, and earplugs would have helped because it was noisy at night due to the bar across the street, making it hard to get to bed early. The city tax was 7 euros, which is higher than the 6 euros I saw for category 2 guesthouses on ChatGPT, but it’s not a huge deal.

The location was perfect, right near the Vatican, and the breakfast was excellent with amazing coffee that kept me energized all afternoon; there was nothing to complain about, and we had a great stay.
