The hotel was very comfortable and clean, the onsen great, and the staff friendly. But the hill leading up to the hotel is the steepest I’ve ever seen, so you don’t want to leave just to avoid having to climb back up.

The structure is beautiful, located far from the center yet offering peace and tranquility. Both the hotel and the spa were well equipped with relaxation and entertainment activities, such as a game room with slightly old consoles that still provide fun. The only drawback is getting to the hotel on the way from the station; for the return, shuttles are provided.

The facilities were good, but the location is remote, there are few taxis, and the transfer service is poor.

The beds were comfy and there was access to nice onsen/hot springs. But the rooms felt too dark and oppressive, the air stale, and they didn’t feel very clean—just a bit run down for the price. The location is too far from the center, perched on a hilltop.
